Greece is famous for its honeys. It has the most beehives per acre of any country in Europe and produces some of the most admired honeys in the world. However, for some reason, it has been difficult to find high quality, unblended, single-source Greek honey in this country. Until now!

ApiPharm works with beekeepers throughout Greece to bring us exceptional varietals of Greek honey. Collected by hand using traditional methods, these honeys are allowed to ripen in the beehive. Unlike commercial honeys that are blends, ApiPharm varietal Greek honeys are produced by bees that feed on distinct floral sources, resulting in unique flavors, textures, aromas and colors.

Minimally processed and not boiled or pasteurized, these raw Greek honeys retain their naturally occurring enzymes, antioxidants, and nutrients. Testing at the national laboratory of Athens certifies that they are pesticide free and 100% natural.

Serving Suggestions for Greek Honey
Greek honeys are an excellent accompaniment to cheeses, nuts and baked goods. They are the perfect sweetener for yogurt and tea. They add a distinctive aroma and flavor to meat marinades and other sauces.



Storage and Handling
Minimally processed, raw honey naturally crystallizes. This does not mean that it went "bad." To return honey to its liquid form, slightly warm it in a bowl of hot water. Do not refrigerate honey even after you open the jar. It should be stored away from sunlight and heat, preferably at room temperature.
