Grilled almonds with caramelized sugar. Praslines were first made during the reign of Louis XIII in France; the Marchal Duc de Plessis-Praslin offered the ladies of the court these delicious almond candies which were soon christened "Praslines". Mazet praslines are still sold in the traditional tin.
